The Home Depot Is First To Debut Select Step™ -  New Type Of Ladder By Little Giant Ladder Systems

Utilizes QR Codes On Product Packaging And Ladder Labels To Promote Safety

Springville, Utah, May 31, 2011 – Today Little Giant Ladder Systems®, maker of the original articulating ladder, and The Home Depot® (NYSE: HD), the world’s largest home improvement retailer, announced the Select Step™ ladder will be available in more than 2,200 retail stores in the U.S. and Canada on June 1. Creating a new product category in the ladder industry, Select Step will feature QR, or quick response, codes on product packaging and the ladder itself to facilitate in-store product demonstrations and on-the-go safety and how-to videos.
