LITTLE GIANT THE ONLY MAJOR LADDER COMPANY TO EXHIBIT AT HOUSEWARES 2009
SPRINGVILLE, UT – Little Giant Ladder Systems, the company behind the record-breaking Little Giant Ladder infomercial, has announced plans to exhibit several new innovations for the housewares market at this year’s International Home Housewares Show (Booth #N6223). Widely known for safe, versatile, industrial-rated multi-use ladders, Little Giant Ladder Systems also manufactures premium climbing products for home use, like the Little Giant Safety Step. In fact, the housewares market is a major target in the company’s plans for the future.
“There have been very few real innovations in the ladder industry over the years, and even fewer in the housewares ladder category,” explains Ryan Moss, CEO of Wing Enterprises, parent company of Little Giant Ladder Systems. “We’ve been working very hard to bring some real improvements to the non-industrial ladder market.” At the 2009 Housewares show, Little Giant Ladder Systems will launch two new products designed for everyday home use.
The Little Giant Synergy is a lightweight adjustable stepladder featuring deep rungs and a wide-flared leg for extra comfort and stability. The Synergy includes the innovative NoPinch spreader system, which makes the Synergy easier to open and close and locks into place for a comfortable, firm footing. The Synergy’s innovative Rock Locks and Quick Adjust Handle allow you to telescope each side of the ladder; so you can use it at multiple heights and on uneven surfaces and even stairs. Priced similarly to traditional static A-frame stepladders, the Synergy promises to be an extremely successful line for housewares retailers.
Little Giant’s new BigTrex, which has the deepest rungs (6.5 inches) of any A-frame stepladder, is engineered to be the most comfortable, lightweight A-frame stepladder on the market. The BigTrex features the new patent-pending NoPinch™ system, a cross-braced spreader system with an attached handle for extra stability and ease of use. A multi-use top cap includes tool slots for screwdrivers, knives, power drills, and paint cans (quart size), and a tray for loose nails and screws.
